Blizzards, Verses, and Books!

Hey! I just wanted to point out first of all that this is the first post i've done that is in black! I decided that blue may be a little too light. Anyways...going on with the story.  Here's a question I have for you: "Is it possible to eat an oreo blizzard that tastes exactly like Dairy Queen's?" The answer is:YES! My grandpa could have been rich! He thought of oreo blizzards before Dairy Queen itself was even out yet. Last night me and my brothers went to my grandma and grandpa's house to sleepover because it was my mom and dad's 16th anniversary yesterday! So we didn't do much yesterday except for make Oreo Blizzards. Yum yum! The rest of the night we just watched the twins win (by the way that's where my mom and dad were!) and we also did a Treasure Hunt.

This is the verse my grandma gave to me to memorize for next christmas:

Provervs 31:29-31
29.
Many daughters have done virtously, but thou excellest them all.
30.
Favor is deceiful and beauty is vain: but a women who feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31.
Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Beautiful right?

This morning we had waffles and bacon and then headed off to pick up my cousin Evan and then went to Fort Snelling. I had gone on a field trip to Fort Snelling before and it was ok...otherwise known as I didn't enjoy it. But...this time? This time was a lot better! We got to do a scavenger hunt and we got to see a lot more things than we did on the field trip!

Books? Reading? I hadn't read a single book until this past week all summer! Haven borrowed me a book to read and it is called The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart.  It is actually really interesting. Here's what the back of the book reads:

"ARE YOU A GIFTED CHILD LOOKING FOR SPECIAL OPPURTUNITIES?"

When this peculiar ad appears in the newspaper, dozens of children enroll to take a series of mysterious, mind-bending tests. (And
you, dear reader, can test your wits right alonside them.) But  in the end just four very special children will succceed. Their challenge: to go on a secret mission that only the most intelligent an resourceful children could complete. With their newfound friend- ship at stake, will they be able to pass the most important test of all?

WELCOME TO THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY.

Doesn't that sound interesting? It is...I am on page 131 and it is a really great book. I've been reading now! :)

Well until next time-Bye!!
