My Serving Day

A couple of days ago I went to my cousin's church to do Kids Against Hunger. For anybody that doesn't know what that is, or what you do...It's just like Feed My Starving Children, except for you do it right in your own church. You just sit there and bag food for about 2 hours. It was surprisingly kind of fun. Since I had Haven there too it was even more fun. :) After we bagged food, we had to obviously clean up...that lead to about an hour doing dishes, washing the dishes, rinsing the dishes, drying the dishes, stacking the dishes. And for a matter of fact we did it the old fashioned way... we hand dried them, hand washed them. Sounds boring right? Well with Haven, and Samson (our friend from church and camp) we had a ton of fun! We would sing songs, blow bubbles on each other, and just goof off! What a great way to have fun while doing something horrible. Then we also had to sweep and put a bunch of tables and chairs away...but you know we did it all for Jesus, I would say. :)
