one snowy day..

one snowy day
It was blistering, and below nothing out..I hung on to my coat, and backpack on my way home to the bus stop. It was only a couple houses away..but it seemed like it took me years to get home. It felt like there were icicles in my nostrils, and ice cubes in my mouth..but I decided to push through..because I was on my driveway. I felt the wack of ice cold wind hit my cheeks, I clenched my teeth to keep moving up the driveway. I huffed and puffed, and dragged my stuff along, I swear I had 30 pounds of books inside my rucksack. I pulled my heavy and tired feet as far as they could go..and suddenly..I MADE IT TO THE FRONT DOOR! but it was locked. Are you kidding me? I thought to myself. My mom has to be home! I dragged myself to the garage door..only to find..
it was frozen shut.
This has to be the worst day ever. I sat on the freezing ground on that below zero degree day..waiting for someone to help me. Finally I saw my friend come up the driveway to bring to her house to help me get warm and help me get home. 
I would love to have a friend like that. Just to only think of one... Who would stop and help someone sitting in the below nothing weather? Would it be you? Help your friend out. That is what I call a true friend. I sincerely hope you would do that. Because I sure would.
Friendship is a big deal..especially when you're in middle school. Find the friends you trust..find the friends that will stick up for you..find the friends you love..and love you. Not like you one day..then the next..they won't even talk to you.

By the way..this didn't really happen..It just kind of came to me. I needed to let my feelings about friendship out also..and talking about below freezing weather in Minnesota is perfect. ;)
