the outdoors

Guess where I'm going this weekend? The outdoors! :) I am so excited because I haven't been camping since September. It's about time we get our pop-up loaded up again, and we start packing all the picnic food there are  in the stores. It's about time we all start getting jittery, and anxious for this day to come. It's about time we get to leave the stress and busyness of being at home. We get to go. Leave our house for three days. I'm excited. I'm giddy. just a little bit. 


Not going to say this post is going to be short..but it is. What are you going to do over Memorial Day weekend? 


Right now..my dad is popping up our pop-up and loading it. I really love when he does this..just because that usually means we can stay up a wee bit later and help him get ready..and my mom too. Here are some pictures from last year. I'll show you the pictures of the pop-up too, and our mini set up.

That is me from last year enjoying a s'more and enjoying that constant burn on my face, because I was dumb enough to not reapply and my face was literally fried, earlier that day it was beet red. So here's a reminder to you: Wear sunscreen!!

Oh, and by the way these are pictures my mom took so none of them are edited.

Okay so this is me and my brother in the pop-up doing dishes. Yes, doing dishes. That part always stinks. But somebody's gotta do it!

So here is our set up. We've go the pop-up, and the canopy thing. Then we've got fake grass to wipe our feet off on as our carpeting underneath the canopy. Then we have cupboards and such for our food and kitchen supplies. And then picnic tables, and bikes, etc. Oh, by the way..we got a new van. Much better than that. ;)
