catching up

I am once again sorry for the four days {or whatever} without blogging. I have been busy, busy, busy.

This weekend I went to Belle Plaine, MN for a President's day volleyball tournament. Exciting, isn't it? We even stayed in a hotel overnight. There was a pool there where our whole volleyball team hung out in. 

The volleyball tournament itself was a ton of fun! {okay, I still don't get why Minnesotins say "ton" it's a habit!} Although, we got in 25th place out of 25 places in the gold bracket, it was still a LOT of fun! :) We did make it into the gold bracket didn't we?? 

Our way home was disastrous. There was a huge snow storm up here in Minnesota last night, and we were driving home from Belle Plaine in it! Good thing the whole volleyball team decided to caravan! We did have to stop a couple times because of peoples windshield wipers and stuff, but we did get home in 2 and a half hours..when it should only take us about 45 minutes to get home! 

I was getting all excited about the snow melting this past week because of the 50 degree weather. Now it's dropped back down, and there's snow all over. :(

So I guess that just gives us time to READ. I wish I could read non-stop. But now that I've gotten my SUSIE Magazine I've been reading that instead.

My room has been torn apart, it has been transformed. The other day, right before volleyball, my room had a flood in it. Our sump pump failed {again} and since my room is lowest to the ground all the water goes right into my room. Now my room has absolutely nothing in it because my dad took everything out and transfered it into the toy room in the family room. He hung a blanket there to make privacy lines, or a door! I will post picture soon! 

Now that my room is destroyed we're going to redo the whole thing! Get new carpet, a new ceiling, paint, new furniture, the whole package! I'm thinking of these three color themes: 

PINK

BLUE

GREEN
