- After a sleepover with the best cousin in the world, I've been extremely tired. We even went to bed at 1:30 am, and I woke up at 8:30 in the morning, so I wouldn't say that's too bad..would you? Plus, I even slept in later then Haven. she woke up at like 6 or something crazy like that, and kept turning the light on. She took a shower, ate breakfast, got dressed and was like totally ready before I even was awake!
- Due to tiredness, my throat hurts. I think I'm getting a slight cold..but not much of a cold, more like strep?? I really hope not! Seriously, even cough drops don't work. It hurts so bad when I swallow! I've got myself not even swallowing for a long time! Ugh. I hate soar throats.
- Today during my volleyball tournament I served for a really long rally and I think I may have pulled something in my back from leaning back so much from serving. Everyone was trying to get me to do stretches, but it hurt too much to move. Finally my coach brought me to a trainer in the warehouse and asked if there was anything wrong with it, or what I did to it. He told me some stretches to do..and they did kind of help. Then he gave me an ice pack to put in my spandex and keep there for a while to cure the pain. So I was walking around the volleyball place with a big ice pack in my butt. Embarrassing right? My coach didn't let me play for a while. Soon enough I did get playing again though..just not serving.
As you can see..I need some rest..event though I did get 12 hours of sleep last night! :)
It really stinks feeling like that ^ right now..but let's hope/pray I'll get over it!

ReplyDeleteI was looking for you ALL day! I couldn't find you! I seriously went up to teams and asked if there was an "Ali" on their team! It wasn't till I got home that I found out what # you were. There was one girl that I thought was you but when I asked if there was and Ali on their team, they said no. I feel bad that you hurt your back! I hope it heals! My volleyball team did SO bad today! We won one match but we lost the other two. Our head coach was gone so we needed parents to step up and coach us. :( I hope you feel better also!
