happy birthday to my bestie ♥

Today is July 1st, the day in which my best friend forever came into this world, 13 years ago. I was almost 1 at the time and little did I know that this baby girl would be one of the most important girls in my life. Haven is the girl that I go to all the time. Whenever I need advice or help with something, I go to her. She's like the sister I don't have-but much, much better.

Today she is turning 13, she's a teenager! We've been best friends for 13 years now. I cannot imagine my life without Haven. It's even hard for me to go by one day without seeing her or talking to her.

I've probably mentioned before that she is my cousin obviously, but she's more than a cousin to me. She's more of like a sister, someone I can go to if I need anything. We always talk about when we are older that I want my kids to call her their auntie, and her kids to call me their auntie. We don't want them to call us their second cousins, because we're more than that. We're so close.

Often times I think I take advantage of the bond we share. Most people don't get a cousin their own age and gender. But boy, I am so thankful for Haven, you have no idea. We are both very blessed to have each other.

Haven is like one of those girls that you tell everything to. Even your deepest darkest secrets get spilled out to her, and often times we don't even keep secrets to ourselves, we share them to each other. I always feel comfortable telling her these things, because I know, and trust her to keep them to herself and not tell the world.

I'm sure Haven would love it if you guys commented and wished her a happy birthday. :)

Haven, you mean the world to me, I hope you understand that and take it seriously. I'm not joking. I'm totally and completely serious. I love you.

Friendship is loving each other so much, that you can’t even describe your feelings for your best friend. 

Friendship is having inside jokes, and bringing them up at the needed times, and making each other laugh.

Friendship is being by each other’s sides when they need you, and when they don’t. 

Friendship is ME AND YOU!
